Tom Waits. He’s very talented, but there’s something so “hipster-ish” about him that I don’t quite like. Maybe he takes himself too seriously or maybe photos of him tend to be this “old, dusty world” kind of thing. Take the album photos from “Mule Variations”, for example.
I really want to like him more than I do, I just think this whole “world-weary traveling busker” thing is getting old.
