**mumble, mumble** Damn white girl. Look at her all white and happy and crap. Bitch don’t know what I go through each day. **mumble, mumble**
There is something odd about this photo. It looks like the light has been altered, and that there is a dark streak purposely added to cross over the lady in the background and accentuate the context. You can see it start at the top, all the way to the ground, it’s pretty obvious. Marilyn looks great, but she is also too bright. The photographer tried a little too hard to make his point. This technique was used quite a bit around the fifties? I read something about another photographer shooting photos and altering them by adding the brightness as well, he was taking photos of white kids with people of different races. Forget his name.
