Random stuff found on the interwebs that made us say WTF?
There aren’t enough derogatory remarks to cover how much I dislike the Bay.
me too. i once was at an advertising conference and some digital ad guy tossed his name out while I was talking to him, i guess to impress or intimidate me. Or something. I was like, meh.
I think filmmakers can learn a lot from Bay. I liked a couple of his films many I did not, but they are not made for me. Love him or hate him, you can’t say he doesn’t focus on the audience. Spend a weekend at Sundance and you may be begging for robots and explosions. ;)
True enough but you can learn a lot from EVERYTHING, without exception, though. Everything in life is a opportunity to learn.
Still I think the man is overrated.
But that’s life. So’s Kim Kardashian.
True, but she doesn’t make movies. Just infect our tv screens with her bland attempt at acting natural.
I heard that the wedding episode got one million more viewers than the season finale of Mad Men. Sigh.
I like Kim Kardashian but I find her show unbearable. I find her remarkably beautiful, that she’s honed her fame from a sex tape and show about her ditzy airheaded family doesn’t diminish that.
I like Michael Bay but I generally skip his movies. Though I kinda wanna see Transformers 3 in 3d…
A O Scott of the New York Times has written probably the best film review I’ve seen in a long time.

I don’t simply dislike Bay, I hate repeat HATE that man with a white hot fiery passion. Everytime I hear about one of his movies, I want to go on a riot and destroy every screen his movie is playing on.
I don’t mind the robots, but I can go without the racist, sexist and homophobic jokes and caricatures.
