Generally I would never show it this rough. But I figured this would make good internet reading. So you’re going to get a front row seat to the progression of the edit step by step.

To see the original script and a Behind the Scenes look at the shoot

Here is an incredibly rough assembly of footage to get a feel of where I’m going.

I’m going to write more VO to fill the long empty gaps

    Comments are welcomed.

I love that deep desaturation and the jokes were pretty funny. Technically, I can’t be sure but I think I heard a whine in some of the scenes and I think that there’s room for a cutaway to a high heel at the beginning.

The audio is all over the place and will need a good scrubbing – that’s for sure

Some may also get covered up when music is applied.

I have some ideas for the VO if you’re interested. Ed- you gotta love him.
Like Simon mentioned- the deep desaturation was incredible (even though it makes my nose look very weird). Nice work John.

I can’t stop watching this- even though it’s not complete. (I usually get increasingly annoyed when watching myself on film. But I have to say it again, not this time) Thank you John.

I think at this point you’ve seen it more than I have… I get to rarely look it these days

We should have had your camera running during the VO last night. That may (or may not) have been interesting.

Music!! Music! This film needs a music! Background music, sound effects, YES!

I roughed the score for the first scene – minor blues progression which was really hard for me to figure out but it sounds cool.

    Slowly but surely.

Can’t wait to see the finished product! :D
