Eiko Ishioka’s career encompassed film and theater, the Olympics and Cirque du Soleil. Among many of her great accomplishments was her Cannes-awarded winning work as both production and costume designer on Paul Schrader’s Mishima: A Life in Four Chapters. Images from that film is a tribute to the visionary work of the eclectic, world-renowned artist, who died last Saturday in Tokyo, at the age of seventy-three.
