    I agree with 8th. That isn’t one I’ve heard of, and it doesn’t jump out at me as being that great.

    The most popular industry budgeting software titles that I’m aware of are Gorilla Film Production Software, and Movie Magic Budgeting. Both of which are several hundred dollars, and probably overkill if this is your first feature.

    Depending on your needs, budgeting can be done on a simple excel spreadsheet. Budgeting is more about knowledge of your local industry than anything else, since you have to know the real costs (which is often very different from standard rate sheets).

    Just an FYI, I’d set the budget about 20%-30% more than what you think. Just for unforeseeable events that will cause you to go over budget.

    I ead that a good budget sheet would have a line for ‘contingency’, at least 10%.
