    Hi folks,

I’ve made the switch from Film camera to HDSLR, and I started with the Nikon D7000. I must say so far I like the quality but I really wanna improve my work and get that pro cinematic look.
Check out the video below and please give me some usefull comments how to improve my work. (Don’t mind the language I’m from Suriname)

Hi, nice video. Some good shots there and the consistant colour scheme.

The first thing I noticed was the picture quaility, it looked a bit hazy, which might be about the frame rate or the editing software. Another issue was the autoexposure setting, that’s not a big issue but it’s good for continuity to keep the video the same exposure.

I’ve shot the video on two different locations and two different lighting situations. This was a first project with the cam so I did it on auto and used manual fucus. Some of teh footage in th house was lit with a lowel tota but it felt down and the bulb broke, so I had to use a simple flouricent wich I brought in my kit.
I’ve filmed 24 fps converted the footage with the cineform converter, after that I did the editing in Vegas8 and the color grading in premiere cs4.
