MobMov.org is a group that is trying to bring the drive-in experience back to the people. They show movies for free on mobile, car-mounted projectors. The shows are organized “underground” via the Internet, email and text. Filmmakers won’t make money directly from MobMov or other “Guerrilla Drive-ins”, but it maybe a great way to gain publicity. After people see your film at one of these Mob-Mov events, they may go to your site and buy it. MobMov is always looking for great content, so even if you don’t start your own drive-in you may want to get your film in the hands of their organizers. To find out more about this new distribution movement visit MobMov.org.
