Monitor Your Video Renders Remotely with Digieffects RenderMon

RenderMon (currently in beta) is an innovative new web-based application that enables digital media artists to remotely monitor and manage the video rendering process, as well as securely upload, view and share the rendered video from Vimeo.

I always wished for something like this – mainly because I sometimes end up having to wake up several times at night just to check on the status of the file I am rendering. Something like this sounds good, but I am not sure exactly how it works – does it work through my computer or does it work through the program itself – and if it works through the program itself, it makes me wonder if it will slow down the rendering in any way or cause it to freeze or something. Sometimes After Effects can be annoying like that.
