Orson Welles Interview on the Day He Died October 10, 1985
On October 10, 1985 Orson Welles reordered his last interview with Merv Griffin. He died two hours after the taping at the age of 70 years old.

I worked with Orson, in August of that year, He had lost over 100 pounds and we did had to use a special chair for him when he was 300+ pounds. I remember being in edit 3 at Premore, when we got the news that he had died. It always seema we lose 3 actors at a time. In a little over a week, we lost Rock Hudson, Yul Brynner and Orson.
