The biggest problem with the XA10 is that it has a rattle noise while recording. It has something to do with the position of the XLR controls and the handle. Not sure I would rush to purchase this camera, even if some consumers have used a piece of tape to steady the handle and eliminate the noise. Perhaps Canon will correct this issue on the next model.
I bought this camera 2 weeks ago and I’m a little disappointed with quality od sound. Rattle noise mentioned by Ciara is really annoying. It appears both during recording and in the recording itself. No matter if you use a mic or xlr. turning on the ATT function improves the sound a little but still it’s far from my expectations.
the CANON XF 105 don’t have nd fiter?SAD:(
