When working the production of marketing materials – every professional will be faced with the question of choosing a typeface. One of the aspects that separates a lot amateur videos from professional ones is the well designed graphic elements. This article, though aimed primarily at print/web designers, is useful as a guide to picking the right font for your project.
For the motion picture world – there are some other technical considerations to take in mind (such as colorspace and type of delivery) – but the fundamentals still hold true.

Once again…great post…had a basic understanding from years of experience but always meant to research more about it…never got around but FMIQ saves the day again…cheers.
It would be interesting to know if the font used by a writer could influence the outcome of a script.

Unlikely, Write in wingdings, if that’s what suits you. Just make sure to change it before submitting. Courier or TNR. Some places will state the preference, some won’t.
