Take a trip back in time. This 11-minute reel of film, shot from a cable car on Market Street, captures a city full of life and promise-which was destroyed only days later in the great earthquake of 1906.

If you look really close there’s a guy at 5:03 on the side of the road with an iPad. Time travel is all over the web today.
Jerk at 1:54 almost cuts off the trolley car.
Some of these drivers (and pedestrians) will fit very well in 2010.
Amazing!
