This inspired me to build a slider. Because I have ‘larger’ camera (Panasonic AG HMC70) I am concerned that it would have to be pretty short as the rig would get way out of balance if it goes very far off center. I’ve come up with a design that I think I can build for about $30 that has a sliding counterweight to keep things balanced. I’m going to try 48″. I’ll post something on Vimeo if it is successful.
