Five of those seven sins are actually a style of shooting. The only two that still are bad: Not leaving enough room at the end of a shot for an edit and editing randomly (snap shooting).
Though the latter may become a style too (I actually use it in a film)

Yeah, this wasn’t the best video. I’ve used a couple of those ‘deadly sins’ when shooting reality tv, and others for narrative. The only ‘deadly sin’ is not knowing intent.
I’m kind of surprised that they (the creators) don’t seem to have a clue about the rule of thirds, headroom, or balance in a frame – the last of which is more of a real issue.
