Dennis, I think you&#039;re spot on.

Studios are not &quot;trying to make &#039;Star Wars&#039; over and over again.  They&#039;re trying to make what they believe the audience wants to see.

That&#039;s a very different thing.

Different generations are in need of different stories. And today, the bulk of the filmmaking audience does not consist of septuagenarians.

So they don&#039;t want to see what Francis Coppola wants to see (let alone MAKE).

It&#039;s interesting to see how both Coppola and Lucas, two of the most celebrated filmmakers of their time, seem so completely frustrated with their achievements.</description>
