How to Get Bruce Campbell in Your Movie
Bruce Campbell while being interviewed by Film School Rejects listed his criteria for being in your film:
The movie can’t have “Zombie” in the title: “That’s an instant no.”
It also can’t have zombies in the movie: “Anything zombies is an immediate walk-away.”
The script must be special: “It has to be something that makes me nervous when I read it.”

Finally… somebody with the same take on zombies as I have!
“…The director must have experience: “I now have an official first-time director rule. That’s an official no.” — good one
First time at WHAT, though? Directing in general? Directing features? It’s a good rule in general but every now and then there’s that first-timer (like the guy who directed The Strangers) who hits one out of the park, it’d be a shame to miss out on something like that!
Yeah but that’s like 1 in 10 million. You’ll spend more time chasing after the newbie idiots than doing decent films… and those that are good – well they’ll be making more films….
